Art Auction Follow up

Here is a follow up post from yesterday on the art auction. We had so much fun with this.

We matted all the art so that it would look nice. We made auction paddles quickly out of construction paper and straws for the handle. We gave each bidder $2 in quarters.

The auction prices started at 25 cents. Most of the art was sold for somewhere between 75 cents and 1 dollar. The kids were excited and everyone won the art they were hoping to get. It will all be put in the gallery aka the playroom.

The kids loved this project and the auction raised $10 for VBS!
