Paula and Bob Kerr and our friends Mark and Danyel our the blog sponsors for New Years Eve 2011. They invited us to spend the afternoon/evening 4 wheeling here in Colorado on their 40 acres. So much FUN!! The Greeneteam is having a ball and so are John and I. The view is spectacular and at midnight we should see a fireworks show from Pikes Peak. What an amazing way to kick off the New Year!! Here's looking to 2012!!
Our FUN mission began on June 7, 2011 and we finished it on June 5, 2012!! Our goal was to spend quality family time with our four kids known as the Greeneteam. We had a great time checking items off a year long bucket list and now we look forward to adding new things as we complete them. "Life is an adventure" and we are trying to enjoy every minute of it with our kids!! Thanks for stopping by!!

Day 207..... Ping Pong Round Robin Style!!
While we have been in Colorado the kids have loved learning to play ping pong. Jack really wanted to get the cousins together to play a round of Round Robin. John now wants to get a ping pong table.. maybe someday in the garage. A fun game even if I do not have the coordination to play it.

Day 206.... FAMILY PHOTO SHOOT
Today we had a family photo shoot with 40 of us. Each family was given a different bandana color. Our color was of course green. I do not have a shot of the whole group yet but when I do I will post it. Lots of fun to get to spend time with all of Johns family and cousins. Such a great group of people. The team is loving life this week at our little hideaway retreat!!

Day 204... SNOW ANGELS and SNOW FUN!!
The kids were dying to get out in the snow this morning. They couldn't wait to try out their new boots. The snow was perfect to make snow angels so everyone flopped down and made a few. The kids forget how cold you get when wet, so we didn't last more than 30 minutes before they were begging to come in and warm up with hot cocoa and dry clothes. The snow is so pretty and fun to look at but cold when you are in it. Brrr!!!
Pikes Peak is the view from our Hideaway retreat!!
All of us excited to get out and test our boots and play in the snow!!
Daddy rough housing with the boys in the snow. They kept trying to tackle him down. They are not quite big enough yet!!

Day 202... Trip Clips .. travelling Christmas Day
We were on the road for 1000 miles today!! Believe it or not we had a great time!!
I wanted to do something special. I found this Trip Clip idea on Pinterest. I then combined it with the idea of Christmas presents, and another idea of doing something special each time you drove into a new state.
My idea was to make the Trip clip and wrap stocking stuffer items to open when they entered each state. The catch?? You had to be good and not get your clip moved to receive the prize. It worked like a CHARM. I did not have to speak to anyone regarding behavior all day. A miracle alone, much less in the car for 1000 miles/17 hours!!
I have never had such an easy trip traveling with the Greeneteam. Was it the Trip Clips?? Not sure but I will be using them again!! A fun and memorable December 25, 2011!!
The kids loved having something to look forward to when entering a new state. For the most part the items I gave them kept them occupied in between states. This I am sure is what kept them from arguing, complaining etc which is the norm in our car. I used dollar store items. Coloring books, Ring Pops, Word Search Puzzles, Candy Canes, and Peanuts/Bubble gum. They loved it and were such amazing troopers all day long. A Christmas Day we will not forget!!

Day 201.. Christmas fun and presents!!
Today we had fun celebrating Christmas. Our morning was filled with lots of presents from so many wonderful friends and family members. The Greeneteam loved it all and have spent the morning playing and organizing all of their things. Thanks so very much. We are truly blessed! Merry Christmas 2011!!
GLOVES for Colorado!! :)
Maddie's 16th Webkinz. She loves them all so very much. Thanks Ms. Tiffany and Mr. Gene for this new addition. She named her Tinsel.
Kenna loved the BIG puzzle ball Aunt Sarah gave her. She has already put it together!!
When they thought the last present was done Maddie got a little sad. She had not received the one thing she asked for from Santa.
All of them THRILLED to find out there was one last present. The Santa presents were under the other tree. Life is good!!
"It had to be, It had to be!!"
